EVPS July 14/04 This was a Wednesday night Ghost Tour. Before the tour, my son and I walked out on The Commons. Our tape recorder picked up this evp of the sound of many soldiers' feet on gravel (there is no gravel there now - the path through The Commons is asphalt), and a commanding officer saying, "Company, company halt." This area is also the area of the original entrance to the Fort. Click here to listen. Near the end of the tour, when the group gathered out by the parking lot to discuss the tour, my tape recorder suddenly recorded nothing but garble. This lasted for the next approximately 54 min. of tape, right to the end. (We had stayed around talking to the Ghost Tour staff after the tour, which is why the tape lasted so long). I've used the tape recorder on at least three other occasions since then, with no problems. Click here to listen. July 25/04 Anthony captured this amazing evp and was kind enough to send it to me. Here's what he said about the circumstances surrounding it: " We stopped in the 1st Large building where the soldiers lived, slept etc. While inside the story of Sara Anne was told. After leaving I was calling her name quietly about 4 times and took some pictures. While exiting, my friend Tara trips and you can hear her stumble in the audio. Instantly afterwards you hear a CLEAR, concerned voice saying, "Are you Ok? Are you injured? " No one asked her if she was ok, except my friend and I a few seconds afterwards. We were last to leave the building, everyone else had their backs to us. The voice response was INSTANTLY after she slipped, and to ask if someone is "Injured" is very strange for someone just tripping and not even falling down." Anthony is the same person who had sent me the evp of the little girls giggling (see EVP - Page 7). He has also sent some pictures. Thank you so much, Anthony! In this evp, you'll hear some noise and an "Oops" at the beginning, when Anthony's friend stumbles, then you hear a man say, "Sorry". (The first two voices are real people.) Then you'll hear a little girl's voice saying, "Are you okay? Are you injured?" Click here to listen. Aug. 8/04 This was a Sunday night Ghost Tour. The first three evps were caught at the end of the tour, outside of the gates of the Fort, while Kyle was telling the last story, about a man named Chris, who also happened to be on the tour at the time. The first evp has a child's voice saying, "Afraid." Click here to listen. This evp has a voice saying, "Where are you going?" Again, you need to listen closely because of Kyle's (louder) voice at the beginning. Click here to listen. This is the same evp, slowed down to hear it better. Click here to listen. This evp was caught a bit later, while a few people were chatting out by the parking lot. A voice is saying, "Carrie", which is a name we've caught before on an evp, down by the well inside the Fort.
