FORT GEORGE EVPS APRIL 1, 2006 Wendy captured the following evp during the day, while walking towards Fort George from the Queen's Landing Inn. This evp has a voice saying, "I'm back." Then another voice says, "Wendy." Click here to listen. MAY 2, 2006 Wendy captured the following evps during the daytime. The first two evps were captured in the Vistors' Reception Centre. This evp has a young female voice saying, "got a pay pass". Click here to listen. This evp has a woman with a French accent saying, "Okay, he is dead. Let's do it." At the same time, another voice says "Now?" This is one of the rare evps that was said backwards and had to be reversed to be understood. Click here to listen. Here is the same evp slowed down. Click here to listen. The following evps were captured in the Officers' Quarters. At the time, there were only two other tourists besides myself and the interpreter in the Officers' Quarters, and neither of them said these things. This evp says, "No, you're tall." This was said after the interpreter was telling some tourists that ladies wouldn't have associated with "scum of the earth ... like me". (The interpreter was dressed in a soldier's uniform, of course.) Click here to listen. These two evps came almost right together, and the interpreter's voice can also be heard in the background. These are still in the Officers' Quarters. The first evp says, "Get out." Click here to listen. The second evp says, "They got us." Click here to listen. The following evps were captured somewhere in the back of the Fort, but I'm not sure exactly where. I was alone in the back area of the Fort. This evp has female voices singing, "Let me be." Click here to listen. This evp says, "I'll get you to go back." Click here to listen. The following two eps were captured in the Gift Shop. In both of them, other voices of people in the Gift Shop can be heard in the background. This evp has a voice saying my name, "Wendy". Click here to listen. This evp says, "I miss you." This is a man's voice, and there were no men in the Gift Shop at the time. Click here to listen. The following evp was captured in the Guard House. This evp says, "Why is that?" I was alone in the Guard House at the time. Click here to listen. MAY 21, 2006 Wendy captured the following evps during a Ghost Tour. This evp was captured in the Barracks. You can hear the tour guide's voice, while at the same time, you can hear a young female voice saying, "Too scary." Click here to listen. This evp was captured in the tunnel. Again, it's a young female voice. This time it's saying, "We were here." Click here to listen. MAY 28, 2006 Wendy captured the following evps after a Ghost Tour, outside on the path just off of the parking lot. No one else was around at the time, as the tourgoers had all gone home, and I was waiting for my ride home. The first two evps were each captured after I coughed. I can't quite make out what thefirst one is saying, so I don't know if there's any relevance to the coughs or not. The second one is saying, "Mikey." Click here to hear the first one. Click here to hear the second one. This evp is a bit longer to include a sequence of events. It's my belief that the spirit was trying to get my attention, so he did something to my hand (which I thought at the time was a mosquito bite). At that point, I jerked my hand and knocked my camera tripod. This audio clip has the tripod being knocked, then the evp says, "Feel it", as if he were trying to let me know that it had been him doing whatever it was he did to my hand. (I'm assuming he was trying to let me know that he was there.) Then I said, "Dang" because my camera shutter speed was on slow and my picture would now be blurry, after knocking the tripod. It's interesting to note that there was no mosquito bite (and also no itching) to be found on my hand after that. Click here to listen. This evp says, "Oh, yeah." Click here to listen. This evp says, "Who will hang?" Click here to listen. This is the only evp that was captured during the Ghost Tour that night. You can hear the Tour Guide's voice saying, "Excuse Me." At the tail end of that, you can hear another voice saying, "Hey." Click here to listen. |
