FORT GEORGE EVPS

April 29, 2007
Wendy captured the following evps during a daytime visit with Margaret to the Fort.

The first two evps were captured in the Officers' Quarters. The interpreter was giving a talk, and there were only four other people there besides Margaret and I.
The first evp has a voice yelling over the interpreter's voice. I can't make out what it's yelling, but it's very similar to other yelling that I've captured before on evps at the Fort. Click here to listen.
The second evp has a man's voice saying, "Roger, could there be" and the interpreter's voice can be heard at the end. Listen carefully. The loudest voice, near the end, is the interpreter's. Click here to listen.

The next two evps sound like the same voice saying the same thing. I can't be sure, but I think the name that's being said is "Kyle." (Kyle is the head of the Fort George ghost tours, and has been involved with the Fort as staff and volunteer for years.) The interesting thing is that these two evps were captured in two different buildings: The first was captured in the Barracks and the second was captured in Blockhouse One.

Wendy captured these two evps in the tunnel, during a Ghost Tour.

The first evp was captured when Kyle was talking about thinking he'd seen a kid from town trying to get a free Ghost Tour. The voice on the evp says, "That'll work." Click here to listen.
The second evp says, "She found me." Click here to listen.

Wendy captured the following evps during a Ghost Tour.

The first two evps were captured in the Barracks.
The first evp says "Come back here."   Click here to listen.
The second evp says, "Two are lying down."  Click here to listen.

This evp was captured in the tunnel.  It isn't a voice; it's the sound of a loud bang that wasn't heard at the time.
