EVPS
BLUE GHOST TUNNEL Feb. 29/04 A voice on the tape says, "Wanna talk?" Then a couple seconds later, another voice says "No". Click on the links below to hear the .wav files. wannatalk.wav no.wav The rest of our group had exited the tunnel, and I stayed for a few minutes in an area where I'd captured evps at other times, because I hadn't spent much time in that area on this day. A voice was captured on the tape saying, "Don't give up." Click here to hear the .wav file. The following evps were captured on the same date. Click on the various .wav files to hear them. gonow. wav grandad's.wav beatme.wav whyme.wav (On the whyme.wav, you'll hear the evp at the beginning of the file. The voice at the end of the file is one of the people in our group, and is much louder.) March 5/04 There are some very interesting evps from this night. I'm posting the most interesting. It has three voices. The first voice is a man's voice that says, "You're not going to get this one." Then a woman's voice says "monsters." Then another man's voice says something which I can't make out. Click here to hear the .wav file. These following clips were put together from two different tape recorders. Each tape recorder caught bits of this sequence better, so I used the easiest-to-hear parts from each. What happened was this: A little girl's voice says "Mommy." Then I said, "Did you just hear that little girl's voice?" Then a man's voice says, "Julia." Then the little girl again says, "Mommy". Then a woman's voice says, "That's Melody calling." (The word "calling" was accidently cut partly off when trimming the recording." The first and third clips have a lot of background noise of some sort which I can't get rid of, so you need to concentrate, especially on the first one. Also, when the group got to the tunnel, we found that someone had set the floor of the tunnel on fire. Besides all that, some of the younger people were taunting the ghosts. There were many reasons for the ghosts to be angry. There were lots, but I'm posting the two most interesting ones. The first one says "Where's General?" Click here to hear the .wav file. On the tape, I caught a man's voice. He seems to be saying, "Everyone who asked is with me." Then one of the people who was with our group, says, "Ow. Something went through me." Click here to hear the .wav file. March 21/04 It seems that the spirits in the tunnel are getting to know us. This clip has a man's voice saying, "Margaret won't let me." Click here to hear the .wav file. This file is fairly long, and can be hard to hear because of background noise. However, if you keep trying until you can make it out, it's well worth the effort. Some background: Rick had numbered the arches in the tunnel with chalk numbers, to make it easier to keep track of the areas where things were happening. At some point in the time we were there, Rick had gone to see if there were people outside, in case that would explain the voices we were hearing. He stopped partway and stood there for a while, watching a tree moving outside the tunnel, because it was the only tree moving. At some point when he was standing there, he lit a cigarette. Keep in mind, though, that the conversation on this clip took place right after Rick left, and he didn't light up a cigarette until 10 or 15 min. later. In this clip, at the beginning and a couple other times throughout, you can hear a man chanting, "1,2,3,4", almost as if he was making fun of us for writing the numbers on the arches. Shortly after the first "1,2,3,4", a little girl says, "Where's Rick?" Then you hear a lot of noise and more "1,2,3,4" and during this time a man says something like, "gone for a cigarette." (He's saying this at the same time as the other man is chanting, "1,2,3,4/") A bit later, the little girl says, "Okay." Then a bit later, near the end of the clip, a voice says something like "going for a walk." Click here to hear the .wav file. |
