This clip has a voice saying, "I won't talk." This was picked up on the recorder right after I'd confessed to Margaret that I was a chicken. (It was a dark night, I'd heard footsteps, and I was spooked.) I said to her, "I won't tell anybody if you won't." Then this voice was caught on tape.   Click here to listen.

As we were discussing the fact that we were ready to leave Fort Mississauga, it appears that someone wanted to leave with us. Margaret caught this voice on tape saying, "I'm coming."   Click here to listen.

As we were walking back down the gravel path, Margaret heard footsteps behind her. (By the way, this was shortly after the above clip, "I'm coming". When I listened to the tape, I caught these footsteps which were different from ours. (The heavier, boot steps are the mystery ones.) Actually, I heard these at various times throughout the recording, as if we were being followed often that night.
