FORT GEORGE - Videos from the Investigation

Margaret captured these amazing anomalies on her video camera. In cases where we wanted to show the clips in slow motion, it was necessary for me to take short videos with my digital camera, from Margaret's TV screen. In these clips, you'll see blue reflections at times, and wide bands of light and dark that move down the picture. Also, you'll see some movement of the video, as I had a hard time standing perfectly still. However, none of these things ruins the effect of what you'll see on the clips. In most cases, we have been able to include clips right from the original video, although these may be darker and harder to see.
Note: because of the infrared video, clothing that is dark usually appears white.

QUEEN CHARLOTTE'S PORTRAIT

This one is a video of the portrait of Queen Charlotte in the Officers' Quarters. You probably should watch this one twice, to concentrate on the two different phenomena separately. You will see her left eye appear to be winking throughout the clip. You'll also see her mouth appear to be moving as if she's speaking.

MAN IN THE BARRACKS WEARING A TRICORN HAT

These next next clips are truly amazing! In them, you'll see a bit of white movement behind the stairs, then you'll see an anomaly that appears to be a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing a tricorn hat appear from behind the stairs, look directly at the group and the camera, then continue on his way past the table, behind me, and off out of camera range. At times he appears semi-transparent, and at times he appears fairly solid. Needless to say, no one in our group was dressed like this man.
These clips were taken from the main video, showing different starting points, and in one case, pausing him by the candle flame to try to get a better look at the hat.

These are still pictures taken from the video of the man in the tricorn hat. They show that at times he seems transparent and at times he seems solid. Notes: In Photo One, you can see his face a bit, although not perfectly. In Photo three, you can see a bit of his hand, and you can tell that his hand is in his pocket.

MAN IN FRONT OF THE SAWPIT

The clips below are of an anomaly that appears to be a mysterious figure in a cape, in front of what used to the sawpit area. We thought at first that it might be Mark or Kyle, but Mark wasn't near the area that night. Also, this man appears to be wearing boots, but Kyle was wearing shoes. In the video, Kyle's cape shows up grey and his pants white, while this man's cape shows up white and his pants black. Also, as you'll notice when you watch the videos and see the still pictures that follow it, that this man is actually transparent part of the time.

KYLE COMPARISON

The clip below is a clip of Kyle walking with the lantern under his cape, to be used as a comparison for the clip of the man in front of the sawpit.

MAN IN THE OFFICERS' QUARTERS

This video clip was taken in the sitting room of the Officers' Quarters. At the time, only Margaret, Mark and I were in the sitting room. Everyone else was in the Junior Officer's Bedroom. This anomaly appears to be a man that seems to be coming out of the closet door between the sitting room and the Junior Officer's Bedroom, almost as if he's trying to get away from everyone. The clip starts off with a reflection of a window on the door, caused by vehicle headlights coming into the Fort. In the reflected pane of glass, you can see a man's face. Then the clip evolves and a man seems to be coming right out through the closet door towards us. The man also seems to change as the video goes on. (Ignore the word "HI-FI" - that's just because it was taken from the TV.)

HORSE

This video clip was actually spotted first by Mark, when we were watching the original video at Margaret's house. It's still not as clear as I'd like, but it's the best we can do. If you watch the extreme left-hand side of the picture , you will see an anomaly that appears to be a horse's head swing into view and move a bit before it swings back to the left and disappears. In looking back over our videos, I found one of the horse video as watched on Margaret's TV. You see the TV as well as the window behind it, but the horse as it shows up on her TV is much easier to see. Watch the left-hand side of her TV screen.

PERSON BY THE WELL

This video clip shows a person crossing behind the well. On the one hand, the person almost looks too solid to be an apparition. On the other hand, after careful study throughout the video, we found that no one in the group was dressed quite like this, or wore this type of hat, which seems to be a cadet-type hat (the only hats worn by anyone in the group were baseball caps worn by Doug and Tyler). Also, while the group was standing around listening to Mark, this person seemed to appear out of nowhere, and seemed to be heading somewhere with a sense of purpose. The other thing is that there isn't much room to walk behind the well, without walking up on the side of the hill a bit. (I tried it later, and you can't possibly walk behind the well without walking on the side of the hill, which makes you look very strange when you're trying to walk. The man in video walked smoothly, like he was walking on level ground.) Also, since he isn't very far behind Mark and the well, we should be able to see him as clearly as we see everything else, but we can't. Another thing is that, like the horse, when done in slow motion, it's extremely hard to make him out.

MEMBER OF THE GROUP APPEARING TO CHANGE

This video is a little hard to see, but if you watch closely, you'll see the man's hairline change from his hair to a cap of some sort and back again. If you watch his clothing, you'll see that also change and then change back again. Also, throughout the clip, you'll see blurriness over him off and on, while nothing around him changes. He seems to change to a soldier and then back again. Click here to see the video.

The still pictures below on this page were taken from the video. In the first picture you'll see a man who was in our investigation group. In the second photo, you'll see a different man, who actually looks (in my opinion) to be a soldier, possibly from WW1. (Fort George was a training camp during that war.) When you compare the first two photos, you'll see in particular the changes in the legs/pants and the change from hair to some type of hat or helmet. In the third picture, you'll see the man almost completed covered by some type of dark mist, possibly as the change from one man to the next was taking place. All of this took place over top of the first man.
