Margaret’s Report for Ft. George – April 29, 2007 Time: 15:30 EST (Daylight Savings Time)
Wendy and I were pleasantly surprised at the changes that were made for the 2007 Season at Fort George. With all of the changes, it will be interesting to see what happens on the Ghost Tours. There were a few small orbs captured with the digital still cameras
in the Officer’s Quarters. EVPS (electronic voice phenomena) The first recording sounds like a male voice saying “Tom”. Click here to listen The next recording sounds like “Now you can”. Click here to listen The third recording was made while Wendy, Margaret and the Guide, Peter, were laughing and discussing the picture that hangs over a display case housing artifacts from the “Remains of a Day”. (An archaeology dig was done in the early 1970s at the rear of the Officer’s Quarters and some of the artifacts are now on display. Be sure to pick up your copy of the “Remains of a Day” book by Suzanne Plousos at the Friends of Fort George Gift Shop). See photograph below This recording sounds like a male voice shouting “Keep
it down”. Click here

It is interesting because the Gift Shop is situated on the site of the kitchen for the British Army Hospital during the War of 1812. The last EVP is a little hard to hear but sounds to me like a male
voice saying “Wednesday’s out. When’s that
happening?” By Margaret Byl As always, these EVPs are subject to interpretation.
