REASON FOR INVESTIGATION:  Reported Witnessed Paranormal Experiences

VISUAL PHENOMENA:
The homeowner left the room after vacuuming the carpet in the master bedroom.  When she returned, she found child-sized footprints on the carpeting;  Cats seem to react to something unseen in the rooms.

AUDIO PHENOMENA:
Sounds of a male voice heard by both mother and daughter residing in the home; footsteps on stairs

UNEXPLAINED ODORS:

Observation Note: * Nominal EMF readings around the perimeter of the room, but the bed area would have spikes of 4+ gauss.  There were no electric wires or electronic devices stored under the bed.  This bedroom is in the older part of the house and belonged to the daughter.  As you enter this room there is a definite change in atmosphere.

We arrived at the home around 8:45 pm.  After introductions, Margaret did the client interview while Wendy started assembling her equipment.  Margaret & Wendy then took the baseline readings.  As mentioned above, there were some EMF variations in the readings, particularly in the daughter’s bedroom and some in the master bedroom.  Both of these areas are where most of the activity had been reported by the homeowners. 

We set up 2 locked-off IR night vision camcorders in the master bedroom and one in bedroom #3, facing the bed.  We started with the master bedroom, and soon found that the batteries on Wendy’s camcorder were draining at an exceptional rate.  At one point in time my Canon digital camera would not take pictures in the room, but if I stepped outside of the bedroom, the camera would work.  The batteries on the digital camera drained rapidly.  All batteries had been charged and checked prior to arriving at the house.  An aroma of flowers (possibly gardenia scent) entered the room at one point and several anomalies showed on the night vision cameras.  Wendy’s camcorder recorded what seems to be an ectoplasm mist.  Both Wendy’s and Margaret’s digital recorders picked up numerous EVPs (electromagnetic voice phenomenon).  

The daughter’s bedroom had a distinct atmosphere change when you walked into the room.  The EMF detector had unusual readings on and around the bed.  EVP were recorded while the recorder was placed on the bed.  The daughter had reported “weird feelings” in her room and felt very uncomfortable there.  She also reported that things would go missing from her room.  I felt a cold draft on my legs while I was sitting on the bed, (the IR Thermometer did not record a temperature difference).  Wendy’s video camera that had been locked off in the Master Bedroom shut off. The battery had completely drained.

We decided to do a clearing in both bedrooms.  After the clearing, the daughter commented on how her bedroom felt different, light and airy.  She no longer felt anxious in her room.  The master bedroom also had a lighter atmosphere.

Upon a follow-up call on July 23/07, the homeowner reported that the daughter’s room still felt comfortable.  The homeowner wasn’t as comfortable with her own room. 

Recommendations:  remove the broken mirrors from the Master Bedroom;  follow-up visit & clearing of the entire house.
